It is a very mournful phase of our life for everyone in the world today due to the COVID-19 pandemic, also known as Coronavirus disease. It is an infectious disease caused by a virus that causes respiratory illness and difficulty breathing. The unimaginable increase of this infection all over the world resulting in the closure of Fanshawe College including our Live Chic store - physical and online.

Amidst this, Live Chic wholeheartedly would like to thank the entire Essential Services Team at Fanshawe College for sanitizing the campus. Keeping it as safe and virus free as possible. We believe you all are the true heroes and appreciate that you are sacrificing your own health and family to make sure that the college stays protected and safe.

With things being so confusing and stressful for students, we would like to thank the college staff for closing the school when ‘things’ started to get worse, for taking the time to inform students on the situation as it unfolds, and for offering services to help students get through this difficult time. If it weren’t for those keeping up with the virus, adjusting the school year and delivering courses online, we wouldn’t be able to finish our college programs. Thank you for making it possible for us to complete our diplomas and graduate when the pandemic is over.

We would also like to take this time to thank everyone outside of the school who is keeping us safe. Everyone from firefighters, police officers, paramedics, doctors, nurses, pharmacies, grocery store workers, food service workers, postal delivery services, and also everyone who is making the conscious decision to social distance and stay home. We can all make a difference in helping to stop the spread of this disease, so that we can soon go back how to the way things used to
